Job Description

Scale AI is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join its GenAI Marketplace team. This team focuses on creating a seamless experience for high-quality GenAI contributors. The role involves enhancing contributor workflows to ensure transparency and choice, ultimately building the world's top expert platform for training next-generation LLMs.

The Staff Product Designer will collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve the contributor experience. The person will be expected to possess a strong understanding of business goals and user needs to inform design decisions, refine designs, and ensure design quality standards are met across all products.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process to improve the contributor experience.
  • Understand business goals and user needs.
  • Design, refine, and ship high-quality designs.
  • Justify design decisions based on user feedback.
  • Make tradeoffs between short-term and long-term goals.
  • Adopt and expand the design system.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Track record of shipping features in consumer-facing products.
  • Strong interaction design, visual design, and content writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to influence design process and culture.
