Job Description

Scale AI is seeking a Staff Product Designer focused on enhancing the operator experience within the GenAI Operator Group. The company's mission is to accelerate the development of AI applications, and this role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality data production and delivery. The designer will work closely with cross-functional partners to understand operator needs and solve their pain points, contributing to the cutting edge of the Generative AI industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design process to improve the operator experience.
  • Understand operator needs and creatively solve their pain points.
  • Bring clarity to the complex problem space throughout the design process.
  • Design, refine, and ship high-quality designs.
  • Justify design decisions based on user feedback and insights.
  • Make appropriate tradeoffs between short term and long term goals.
  • Adopt and expand our design system.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
  • Desire to influence the design process and culture.
