Job Description
Critical Mass is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to join their RUN support team in San Jose. The successful candidate will provide 16x7 mobile application support for global customers. This role demands a proactive professional with expertise in iOS development (Swift), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and JavaScript.
The Senior Mobile Developer will be part of a rotating shift team, ensuring system uptime, performance, and rapid incident resolution. They will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to maintain and improve mobile features, contributing to tooling, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and document iOS application issues.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Provide technical support and maintenance for customer-facing applications.
- Monitor and respond to incidents, outages, and system alerts.
- Collaborate with other engineers to improve existing mobile features.
- Contribute to improving tooling, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
- Write and maintain support documentation and knowledge articles.
- Assist in the automation of monitoring and alerting systems.
Requirements:
- Proficient in English (written and verbal).
- 5+ years of professional experience in iOS application development.
- Expertise in iOS development with Swift and experience with Xcode.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including debugging and cross-platform troubleshooting.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, deployment, and monitoring tools.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, system monitoring, and log analysis.
- Proven experience in production support, SRE, or DevOps roles.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work in a rotational or flexible schedule to support 16x7 operations.
