Job Description

Lockwood is seeking a Scientific Director to plan, develop, and oversee scientific content for assigned accounts. The Scientific Director will work with the Group Scientific Director to provide strategic medical communication recommendations, lead content development, supervise Associate Scientific Directors, and manage writing and content-related tasks. Responsibilities include:
• Providing strategic medical communication recommendations.
• Leading execution of content development activities.
• Supervising Associate Scientific Directors.
• Managing writing and content-related tasks.

Requirements:
• Advanced degree in science (PhD, PharmD, or MD).
• 5+ years of relevant experience with medical publications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data.
• Experience with AMA style and ethical guidelines (ICMJE, GPP2022).
• Experience in oncology, dermatology, hematology, cardiovascular medicine, or respiratory medicine is a plus.
