Job Description
Cobalt is seeking a Business Development Representative to identify and create new qualified opportunities for the sales team. This remote role involves managing outbound campaigns and inbound lead flow within a designated territory, qualifying leads, and identifying key decision-makers to effectively position Cobalt's value proposition. The Business Development Representative will become an expert in Cobalt's Pentest as a Service (PtaaS) offering, serving as the initial point of contact for potential customers.
What This Role Involves:
- High volume prospecting and lead qualification through outbound phone calls, emails and other channels
- Creative and personalized outbound prospecting within your target accounts
- Leveraging tools including SalesForce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and others to research and connect with potential customers
- Achieving and exceeding weekly/monthly metrics
- Gain business knowledge through researching potential pain points, decision making structures and every day business challenges of our target prospects
- Close alignment with Account Executives on pipeline organization and ongoing prospecting and nurture strategies
- Regular team huddles to celebrate wins and share goals
