Two Six Technologies is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge embedded hardware solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in a fast-paced research and development environment and is eager to lead innovative projects in advanced embedded and security applications. The Senior Hardware Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of advanced hardware solutions.   • Leading the design, development, and testing of advanced hardware solutions for RF, network, digital, power, and mixed-signal applications.
  • Overseeing PCB design using CAD tools.
  • Researching and integrating productization solutions.
  • Managing the bring-up, debugging, and validation of hardware designs.
  • Identifying and coordinating manufacturing with contract board fabrication and assembly vendors.
  • Documenting designs, layouts, and testing procedures.
  • Collaborating with software, security, and mechanical teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware design, including PCB layout, high-speed digital design, RF, and mixed-signal applications.
  • Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium or KiCad.
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity, RF impedance, EMI, and high-density multi-layer PCB design.
  • Hands-on experience with debugging and validation tools.
  • Experience working with low-speed and high-speed interface protocols.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
  • Ability to work on-site in Dayton, Ohio.
