Job Description
Sagent is seeking a Technical Quality Assurance SR to join their engineering team. This role is crucial in the company's development process, focusing on the quality assurance testing and governance of the Tempo platform. The candidate will collaborate with Quality Engineers and Software Developers to maintain high-quality standards, ensuring system bugs are identified and corrected before release.
Role Involves:
- Building and aligning work to defined testing processes
- Owning testing procedures (functional, performance, regression, sanity & smoke)
- Driving feedback loop for software development practices
- Analyzing upcoming releases for testability and understanding
- Performing test results analysis and providing quality improvement feedback
- Performing defect trend analysis and providing detailed reports
- Providing QA Testing estimates for new releases
- Creating test strategies for planned releases
- Acting as gatekeeper for production releases
- Maintaining and improving the test automation framework
- Augmenting automated test cases after each release
Requirements:
- 4-year college degree + 4 years of experience; OR advanced degree + 2 years of experience; OR equivalent experience
- Experience with API Testing
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools
- Experience executing and monitoring test cases
- Experience with agile methodology tools
- Mortgage and Financial Experience is a Plus
