Job Description
Demandbase is seeking a Sr. Manager, Accounts Receivable to lead the billings and collections teams. This role reports to the Senior Director of Revenue and is a remote position open to candidates across the United States. What this role involves:
- Managing and overseeing all AR processes, including invoicing, collections, and cash application.
- Leading the AR portion of the monthly close process.
- Maintaining and monitoring the AR aging report.
- Managing customer invoicing and collection efforts for new products.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to operationalize billing.
- Establishing and enforcing effective AR policies and procedures.
- Driving efficiencies by leveraging and training offshore team members.
- Preparing and delivering weekly, monthly, and quarterly AR and collections reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of AR management experience, ideally within a SaaS or subscription-based business.
- Strong understanding of SaaS billing models.
- Hands-on experience supporting monthly financial close cycles.
- Experience managing billing and invoicing for new products.
- Proficiency with accounting and CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Zuora, Stripe).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
