Manager, Sales Development

Job Description

Veeam, the global market leader in data resilience, is seeking a Manager of Sales Development to lead a team of Sales Development Representatives in San Jose, Costa Rica. This role is pivotal in overseeing pipeline generation, operations, and growth strategies for both new and existing Veeam Software customers. The Sales Development Manager will contribute significantly to Veeam's growth by promoting innovative technology solutions and fostering a positive team environment aligned with Veeam's core values.

Responsibilities:

• Leads a team of 5-14 Sales Development Representatives.
• Trains and develops Sales Development Representatives.
• Collaborates with demand gen team in marketing.
• Fosters collaboration with sales and other members of SDR Leadership.
• Works closely with Sales and SDR Director to identify areas of improvement.
• Works in collaboration with marketing managers and product marketing.
• Nurtures a positive team environment.
• Manages team performance against pipeline generation quotas.
• Monitors daily activity of sales development representatives.
• Drives metrics to measure performance of the sales development activities.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of inside sales management or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or a combination of education and experience).
• Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and develop sales teams.
• Experience with CRM Software (Salesforce preferred).
• Proven track record of driving high volume, transactional sales.
• Excellent management and communication skills.
• Knowledge of virtualization technology; VMware and/or Microsoft is highly desirable.
