Job Description
Scale is seeking a Head of Engagement Management, Gen AI, to cultivate passionate, lifelong customer partnerships. This role is central to Scale's GenAI operations, focusing on end-to-end engagement management with Scale’s Gen AI customers. The ideal candidate is customer-driven, analytical, and results-oriented, capable of inspiring and achieving significant outcomes.She/He will be responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new project opportunities, driving revenue, meeting delivery SLAs, and upholding quality standards. This role involves close collaboration with Scale’s Gen AI customers, managing engagements from opportunity identification to project delivery oversight. Within Scale, she/he will collaborate with Operations, Delivery, Finance, Product, and Leadership to align execution with customer expectations.
  • Building and driving operational processes for timely delivery of Scale's products and services.
  • Managing long-term customer health by identifying risks and advocating for them.
  • Reviewing, tracking, and improving operational performance.
  • Overseeing onboarding and successful execution of new data projects.
  • Working with customer engineering teams on project scoping and blocker resolution.
  • Creating a feedback loop between frontline teams, product, strategy, and customers.
  • Leading a high-performing team of Engagement Managers.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of work experience in consulting or technical product/program management.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team.
  • Technical background in CS, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a STEM field.
  • Proven track record in B2B client-facing roles and relationship building.
  • Understanding of the ML training lifecycle.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Structured, analytics-driven problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills across multiple work streams.
  • Action-oriented mindset.
