Job Description
Scale AI is seeking a Head of Frontier Data Operations to lead advanced AI projects. The role involves driving innovation in AI agents, audio, and model evaluation. The Head of Frontier Data Ops will ensure the highest standards of quality and foster a collaborative culture. He/She will be responsible for:
  • Driving projects in AI agents, speech recognition, and model evaluation.
  • Providing strategic direction aligning with Scale AI’s goals.
  • Collaborating with research and engineering teams.
  • Managing specialized teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Formulating and implementing data development strategies.
  • Overseeing data collection, annotation, and validation processes.
  • Establishing evaluation metrics and benchmarks for AI models.
  • Facilitating collaboration between various stakeholders.
  • Cultivating a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements for the position include:
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science.
  • Experience leading data development projects for AI applications.
  • Expertise in AI agents, speech recognition systems, and model evaluation methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and data annotation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
