Job Description
Scale is seeking an Instructional Designer to enhance the effectiveness of their human contributors who train AI and LLMs. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality training data. The Instructional Designer will report to the Head of Training and work with both domain experts and generalists.She will be responsible for developing and refining training materials, monitoring training efficacy, and identifying areas for improvement. The ideal candidate possesses an entrepreneurial mindset, is comfortable with ambiguity, and is passionate about helping others learn. Scale is at the forefront of powering AI and LLMs across multiple industries.Responsibilities:
  • Investigate challenges in delivering high-quality data and common contributor errors.
  • Develop scalable training materials, including videos, slide decks, and quizzes.
  • Run live training sessions with contributors.
  • Analyze data on training material effectiveness and iterate on new ideas.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop targeted trainings.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in education, instructional design, or management consulting.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience developing curriculums in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience creating external presentations and documents.
  • Experience using data to measure training material effectiveness.
  • Excitement for solving ambiguous problems and a high level of ownership.
