Job Description
Later, a leader in social media and influencer marketing, is seeking a Treasury & Accounting Manager for a 4-month contract position with a possible extension. This role is based in Boston, MA, and will be responsible for managing the company’s liquidity, customer funds, and creator disbursements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting background and experience with cash forecasting and billing for companies with multiple subsidiaries and banking platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cash forecasts for all entities.
- Monitor cash account balances and initiate funding.
- Review accounts receivable aging.
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Coordinate external audits.
- Identify and mitigate accounting risks.
- Develop and drive adoption of new systems and processes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of treasury and general ledger accounting experience.
- Strong accounting systems experience; NetSuite preferred.
- Experience in the SaaS or technology industry is highly desirable.
- Experience managing teams and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with Stripe in a corporate environment preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
