Treasury & Accounting Manager - 4 Month Contract (Possible Extension)

Later, a leader in social media and influencer marketing, is seeking a Treasury & Accounting Manager for a 4-month contract position with a possible extension. This role is based in Chicago, Illinois. The Treasury Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s liquidity, customer funds, and creator disbursements. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and experience with cash forecasting and billing for companies with multiple subsidiaries and banking platforms. The Treasury Manager will manage billing, cash forecasting, and customer collections processes, working closely with the Accounting team and cross-functionally to ensure financial integrity and compliance with internal controls.What this role involves:

• Preparing cash forecasts for all entities.
• Monitoring cash account balances and initiating funding.
• Reviewing accounts receivable aging.
• Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Coordinating external audits.
• Identifying and mitigating accounting or financial reporting risks.
• Developing and driving the adoption of new systems and processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of treasury and general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong accounting systems experience; NetSuite preferred.
• Experience in the SaaS or technology industry is highly desirable.
• Experience managing teams and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Stripe in a corporate environment preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
