Scale is seeking a Strategic Projects Lead (SPL) for its Generative AI business unit, which is experiencing rapid growth. The Strategic Projects Lead will spearhead initiatives aimed at generating substantial revenue for the company. This role demands a proactive individual ready to handle diverse responsibilities across all operational aspects.

The ideal candidate should possess an entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for high-impact work that contributes to career advancement. The SPL will be responsible for owning high-profile customer pipelines, making critical decisions impacting data quality, operational efficiency, revenue, and margins.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer requirements and design data taxonomy.
  • Build pipeline infrastructure to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Train, coach, and manage dynamic and global teams.
  • Build analytics to make data-driven decisions.
  • Partner with diverse stakeholders (Engineering + Product + Ops + Go-to-Market).
  • Give regular progress updates to Scale’s executive team.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background (engineering or computer science degree preferred, with ability to do data analytics using SQL or Python).
  • 2+ years of experience leading a team, developing product or operational processes, or as a SWE.
  • Strong problem solving capabilities (experience working on operational challenges is a plus).
  • Entrepreneurial experience and mindset.

Initially, the role will be remote. As the team grows in India, it might transition to an office or hybrid model. Candidates should be based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai or Bangalore.
