Job Description
Scale, a rapidly growing company with a $14B valuation, seeks a UK Public Sector Deployment Strategist to drive the adoption of AI/ML technologies within UK Government departments and agencies. The Deployment Strategist will play a crucial role in bringing ML-enabled technologies to the UK Public Sector, focusing on the defense and intelligence community.

Responsibilities:
  • Mapping requirements and relationships within target customer offices to identify business opportunities.
  • Pursuing opportunities using a sales structure and pipeline, providing feedback to the federal GTM strategy.
  • Accurately forecasting and closing high dollar-value opportunities.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to evaluate RFI/RFP opportunities.
  • Leveraging technical teams to discuss emerging trends in AI/ML.
  • Partnering with Scale Solutions Engineers to deliver customer pilots.
  • Promoting Scale at federal customer events.
Core Requirements:
  • Technical sales experience in the UK Government with a track record of closing high-value deals.
  • Sales experience focused on the Ministry of Defence, Home Office, or Cabinet Office.
  • An active UK enhanced security check (eSC) clearance is required; UK-Developed Vetting clearance is a plus.
  • Understanding of procurement processes and contract vehicles used by the UK Government.
  • Experience building relationships within UK Government departments and agencies.
  • Experience with SaaS, software, and services sales of a technical product.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, unstructured environments and work independently.
  • Based in London.
