Job Description
Poppulo is seeking a SDE 2, Machine Learning Engineer to play a key role in driving the growth of their software company. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment where innovation meets practical application, building disruptive products. This role is pivotal to the success of Poppulo's AI team, bridging the gap between research and production by leveraging cutting-edge AI technology into world-class solutions.
Role Involves:
- Designing and developing new AI-powered products.
- Building AI and GenAI solutions using existing frameworks and pre-trained models.
- Translating emerging technologies into innovative, practical solutions.
- Creating proof of concepts to validate potential solutions.
- Fine-tuning and optimizing model and system performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to demonstrate the impact of ML innovations.
- Staying up-to-date with SOTA and industry trends in AI/ML.
Requirements:
- Strong AI/ML background with experience in developing and deploying real-world ML applications.
- Foundation in GenAI, including understanding of generative models, prompt engineering, RAG, and vector databases.
- Proficiency in ML frameworks, shell scripts, databases, and programming languages.
- Hands-on experience in configuring MLOps on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Full-stack expertise in data pipelines, APIs, web front-end, mobile apps, automated testing, and cloud platforms.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies.
- BSc/MSc/PhD in AI, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 4 years’ experience in building complex, distributed software and AI systems.
- Strong understanding of the entire end-to-end software development lifecycle.
