Software Development Engineer

Job Description

LivePerson is seeking a Junior Software Development Engineer to join their Agent Workspaces team. The team is composed of 6 engineers located across Israel, Germany, and Bulgaria. The Software Development Engineer will work in a fast-paced environment on projects spanning different company areas, aiming to enhance and simplify how brands engage with their customers through messaging. Role involves:

• Participating in the development of complex, cross-team features as a solution owner.
• Taking part in defining the frontend software design and overall architecture of the solution.
• Working closely with UX teams and Product Management to define and build the optimal user experience for our customers.
• Maintaining WCAG accessibility certification for our UI.
• Keeping an eye on industry standards and best practices and promote those within the team.
• Working across the tech stack while leaning towards frontend development.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in developing Web applications, including native JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in the development of enterprise-level single-page applications using Vue.js, Angular, or React (We work in Vue.js)
• Highly organized and methodological.
• Has a can-do attitude and ability to see the bigger picture involving business aspects as well as operational excellence.
• High proficiency in English.
