Job Description
RxSense is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support its growing DevOps team. This role focuses on the software at the heart of the business, within an AWS cloud hosting environment. The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting business-critical services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide architecture, solutioning, and implementation support for technical requirements.
- Write code/scripts as part of the solution.
- Lead DevOps projects, ensuring stakeholder communication and change management planning.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
- Ensure environments are functional and configured correctly.
- Create and maintain AWS infrastructure for hosted applications and services.
- Implement and support observability and alerting tools.
- Document troubleshooting steps and share knowledge among team members.
- Champion cloud and application security best practices.
- Help grow infrastructure-as-code approaches.
- Be available for an on-call rotation schedule.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in a DevOps, SRE, engineering, or related role.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to one of our offices occasionally for important meetings and team building
- Ability to work independently and see tasks through to completion.
- Willingness and ability to learn technologies and tools quickly.
- Strong knowledge of essential AWS components, services, and networks.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Past software engineering experience is a plus.
- Comfort in at least one scripting language and one infrastructure-as-code approach.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or container technology.
- Knowledge of Code Repositories and Code deployment tools
- Experience working with government (Medicaid, Medicare) security and government policies such as IS2PE, ARS, GRC
- Flexible, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.
