Job Description
OneTrust is seeking a Senior Counsel, Labor & Employment to provide advice and counsel to the People team on employment relations matters across the Americas region. This role involves advising on recruiting, diversity and inclusion, performance management, leaves of absence and accommodations, internal investigations, compensation and benefits, immigration, contingent workers, and reductions in force. The ideal candidate will possess strong advisory and project management skills, excellent business judgment, and the ability to partner and collaborate effectively with business groups throughout OneTrust.

Role involves:
  • Handling employment-related disputes.
  • Managing outside counsel on labor and employment matters.
  • Liaising with stakeholders across functions.
  • Evaluating and scaling employment practices and policies.
  • Drafting and updating employment-related agreements and handbooks.
  • Conducting audits and employment classification reviews.
  • Developing and conducting training programs.
  • Monitoring legislation and regulations.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8 years of employment law experience.
  • Membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • A thoughtful, business-minded approach to providing legal counsel.
