Precision Finishing Technician II, Deburr - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Rocket Lab is seeking a Precision Finishing Technician II, Deburr to work on the 2nd shift. In this role, the technician will be responsible for deburring and finishing additive manufactured parts used in the Rutherford engine. Rocket Lab is a global leader in launch and space systems, building rockets and satellites that enable vital space missions.Responsibilities:

• Deburring and finishing additive manufactured parts.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in part finishing (machine, cast, forge, or print).
• Attention to detail and time management skills.
• High-level of manual dexterity skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Able to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
• Willing to work 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am)
• Ability to travel and communicate outside of work hours
• Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
• Must be able to move repetitively, bend or twist, and use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods – 8 hours min
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. Unassisted.
