Notion is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Account Executive - Enterprise to join their sales team in Tokyo, Japan. As an early member of the team, the candidate will help define the sales motion, shape the future product, and drive business revenue.
The role involves:
- Managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation and pre-qualification to negotiation.
- Developing and executing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Conducting comprehensive discovery sessions to understand client needs and present tailored solutions.
- Delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiating contract terms and pricing structures.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams.
- Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities and pipeline management using CRM tools.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 8+ years of relevant experience including full cycle sales at a fast growing IT company.
- Extensive experience in enterprise SaaS sales in Japan region.
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Extensive field-based enterprise software sales experience, selling solutions into large enterprise accounts.
- Proven ability to sell into C-Level and work with stakeholders across various lines of business.
- Experience in complex solution sales and consistently closing large figure deals.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both Japanese and English.
- A builder mentality who thrives in collaborative environments.
- Self-motivated and able to manage tasks and projects independently.
- Ability to operate within the grey and find creative or out-of-the-box solutions.
