Commodities Financial Analyst

Job Description

DRW, a diversified trading firm, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support their Commodities team. The Financial Analyst will provide strategic financial insights, conduct complex data analysis, and support senior management in decision-making processes. The role involves leading financial reporting initiatives, developing financial models, and providing insights to drive business growth.

What this role involves:

• Performing timely and accurate financial analysis, including variance analysis.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports.
• Developing KPIs, dashboards, and performance management systems.
• Creating detailed expense forecasts and tracking performance.
• Analyzing costs and identifying areas for cost savings.
• Providing ad hoc financial analysis and reports.
• Analyzing and preparing internal allocations for trading support personnel.
• Liaising with Accounting, Procurement, HR, and Project Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3-5 years of financial analysis, finance, public accounting, and/or reporting experience.
• Strong financial and quantitative skills.
• Proven ability to critically analyze data.
• Self-motivated with strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Results-oriented and a collaborative problem solver.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL and Tableau preferred.
