GTM Tableau Data Analyst

Job Description

Yext is seeking a Data Analyst specializing in Tableau to transform complex data sets into actionable insights that drive informed business decisions. The Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data visualization strategies, maintain data integrity, and enhance reporting capabilities. The analyst will act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, providing clarity through effective data visualization and strategic analysis.

What this role involves:

• Analyzing complex data sets based on reporting requirements.
• Developing and implementing data visualization strategies using Tableau.
• Creating visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports tailored to stakeholder needs.
• Developing and maintaining views in Snowflake to support Tableau data sources.
• Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data and KPIs.
• Providing clear communication of complex data insights to stakeholders.
• Offering training and support to users on Tableau functionality and best practices.
• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive data dictionary for report metrics, KPIs, and KRIs.
• Staying informed about Tableau updates and recommending enhancements.
• Suggesting and implementing improvements to reporting and analytics tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a data analyst or similar role, with specific focus on Tableau.
• Proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Strong experience working with SQL and large databases.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Agile, capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
