Job Description
Bridgewater Associates is seeking a Senior Front End Architect for its AIA Labs in New York City. This in-house venture focuses on using AI to generate returns in markets, enhancing existing strategies and managing a dedicated AI strategy for clients. The Frontend Architect will report to the CTO and will be responsible for building designs with a modern frontend and design stack to create novel interfaces and interaction modes. This role requires interaction with investors and scientists to understand user needs and goals.
Role involves:
- Driving the architecture and frontend direction of AIA Lab’s applications
- Designing and building scalable, maintainable, and performant frontend systems
- Defining frontend architectures and evaluating frontend technologies
- Working closely with users and back-end engineers
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in a technically rigorous environment with modern Frontend and Design tech stacks
- Programming and framework experience with React, Typescript, Next.js, CSS, Tailwind or similar
- Design experience with Figma or similar
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to utilize generative AI
- Deep computer science fundamentals with exposure to backend platform-level development
