Senior iOS Engineer

Job Description

Backbase is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join their team in Guadalajara, Mexico. This is a hybrid role where the candidate will use their mobile technology skills to enhance Backbase's product. The candidate will collaborate across various teams to improve the quality of the core product and contribute to its continuous improvement and expansion.Role involves:

• Collaborating across teams to improve product quality.
• Developing technological advancements for the Backbase omnichannel app.
• Turning innovative ideas into daily tools for customers.
• Testing, checking code quality, and reviewing code.
• Compiling documentation using Agile methodologies.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience with iOS development.
• Familiarity with Objective-C and Swift.
• Experience coaching Jr. Developers.
• Strong knowledge of mobile development for iOS.
• Comfortable in a Scrum team using Agile methodologies.
• Experience in TDD, unit testing, continuous integration, or Jenkins (a plus).
• Ability to showcase successfully developed apps.
• Self-starter attitude.
