Job Description
AlphaSense is seeking a Principal People Systems Analyst to partner with stakeholders in designing, implementing, and supporting Workday modules. This role is within the People Systems and Analytics (PSA) team, which supports AlphaSense by enabling people practices and supporting employees in their technology interactions.Responsibilities:
  • Lead Workday configuration for 3-5 modules.
  • Lead implementation of new Workday processes, products, and features.
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand needs and recommend solutions.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend workarounds.
  • Review business requests and scope project efforts.
  • Define the People Systems roadmap.
  • Provide recommendations and feedback based on prior experience.
  • Serve as a consultant and partner to the business team.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide technical support.
  • Recommend solutions to improve technical issues.
  • Have experience across all areas of solution build out including Workday domain security, Workday business process security and Workday report development.
  • Deliver to the business a complete end-to-end solution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years experience in Workday, with 5+ years focused on Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Payroll or Absence and Time Tracking.
  • Workday Pro certification in 3+ modules including Core HCM.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coach and mentor partners on using Workday.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and HR data security.
  • Demonstrated ability to create internal team processes.
  • Proven expertise in translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
