Job Description
AlphaSense is seeking a Principal People Systems Analyst to partner with stakeholders in designing, implementing, and supporting Workday modules. The People Systems and Analytics (PSA) team works within the People Team and supports AlphaSense to enable people practices and supports employees and managers in their key technology interactions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR processes and extensive experience with Workday modules.
What this role involves:
- Leading Workday configuration for 3-5 modules, including reviewing new features and providing day-to-day support.
- Leading the implementation of new Workday processes and features.
- Collaborating with business partners to understand needs and recommend solutions.
- Conducting gap analysis and recommending workarounds.
- Defining the People Systems roadmap.
- Providing recommendations and feedback based on prior experience.
- Troubleshooting complex system issues and providing technical support.
- Recommending solutions to improve technical issues.
- Delivering complete end-to-end solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Workday, with at least 5 years focused on Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, or Absence and Time Tracking.
- Workday Pro certification in 3+ modules including Core HCM.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor partners on using Workday.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and HR data security.
- Demonstrated ability to create internal team processes.
- Proven expertise in translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Strong project management skills.
