Job Description
AlphaSense is seeking a Principal People Systems Analyst to partner with stakeholders in designing, implementing, and supporting Workday modules. This role involves collaborating with the People Team and partner teams like Finance, IT, and Legal to define business needs and recommend system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR processes and extensive experience with Workday modules.
What this role involves:
- Leading Workday configuration for 3-5 modules, including reviewing new features and providing day-to-day support.
- Implementing new Workday processes and features, providing recommendations based on prior experience.
- Collaborating with business partners to understand needs, recommend solutions, and outline implementation timelines.
- Conducting gap analysis and recommending workarounds to address business requirements.
- Providing expertise in Workday modules and best practices, offering strategic solutions.
- Troubleshooting complex system issues and providing technical support to end-users.
- Recommending solutions to improve or resolve ongoing technical issues.
- Delivering complete end-to-end solutions, including Workday domain security and report development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Workday, with at least 5 years focused on Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, or Absence and Time Tracking.
- Workday Pro certification in 3+ modules including Core HCM.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and HR data security.
- Proven expertise in translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Strong project management skills.
