Job Description

Zscaler is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join their Japan Sales Engineering team. The Sales Engineer will report to the Manager, Sales Engineering in Japan and will be responsible for providing technical expertise and advice to enterprise customers, taking ownership of the technical sale and processes, and independently delivering sales pitches, technical and whiteboard presentations.

Role Involves:

  • Providing technical expertise and advice to enterprise customers
  • Taking total ownership of the technical sale and processes
  • Independently delivering sales pitches, technical and whiteboards presentations

Requirements:

  • BSCS or equivalent with extensive experience as an SE or systems integrator
  • More than 7 years of experience in Pre-Sales roles, with at least 3 years of experience in selling security / networking solutions in direct sales or high-touch sales environments
  • HTTP and web related technologies
  • Experience working with routing and switching products, including troubleshooting (Preferred)
  • Understanding of SaaS based technologies and network security technologies (Preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with systems installation, configuration and administration of macOS, UNIX/Linux and Windows-based systems (Preferred)
