Job Description
SurveyMonkey is seeking a Product Designer to join their team in Bengaluru. The Product Designer will blend user empathy with data-driven decision-making to enhance the SurveyMonkey platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure the platform is intuitive, powerful, and delightful for millions of users. SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making.

What this role involves:
  • Owning the full product design lifecycle for major platform features.
  • Conducting and synthesizing user research to inform design decisions.
  • Maintaining and evolving components in the design system.
  • Collaborating with Product Managers to define requirements and align on success metrics.
  • Leading design critiques and driving consensus across stakeholders.
  • Partnering with Engineering to validate feasibility and iterate on solutions.
  • Presenting design concepts and user flows to stakeholders.
  • Analyzing post-launch performance data to identify opportunities for iteration and optimization.
  • Helping shape design standards and documentation.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional product design experience, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma.
  • Experience running user research and interpreting analytics.
  • Deep understanding of interaction design principles, visual design, and information architecture.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with front-end implementation constraints.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
