Job Description
SurveyMonkey is seeking a Product Designer to join their team in Bengaluru. The Product Designer will blend user empathy with data-driven decision-making to enhance the SurveyMonkey platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure the platform is intuitive, powerful, and delightful for millions of users. SurveyMonkey believes in-person collaboration is valuable for building relationships, fostering community, and enhancing our speed and execution in problem-solving and decision-making.
What this role involves:
- Owning the full product design lifecycle for major platform features.
- Conducting and synthesizing user research to inform design decisions.
- Maintaining and evolving components in the design system.
- Collaborating with Product Managers to define requirements and align on success metrics.
- Leading design critiques and driving consensus across stakeholders.
- Partnering with Engineering to validate feasibility and iterate on solutions.
- Presenting design concepts and user flows to stakeholders.
- Analyzing post-launch performance data to identify opportunities for iteration and optimization.
- Helping shape design standards and documentation.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional product design experience, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma.
- Experience running user research and interpreting analytics.
- Deep understanding of interaction design principles, visual design, and information architecture.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design methodologies.
- Familiarity with front-end implementation constraints.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
