Later is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to play a crucial role in building and optimizing its data warehouse. The Senior Data Engineer will shape the data infrastructure and support the company's rapid growth. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures that facilitate efficient data processing and real-time analytics. The Senior Data Engineer will collaborate with engineers, data partners, and stakeholders, leveraging cloud technologies to develop impactful data solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights.What this role involves:

• Designing and building a robust data warehouse architecture.
• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing.
• Developing reliable transformation layers and data pipelines from ambiguous business processes using tools like DBT.
• Establishing optimized data architectures using cloud technologies.
• Implementing both batch and streaming data processing systems.
• Enforcing data quality checks and governance practices to maintain data integrity and compliance.
• Working with data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Analyzing and optimizing data pipelines for performance and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in data engineering or related fields.
• Strong focus on building data infrastructure and pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
