Job Description
dbt Labs is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to expand its customer base and contribute to sales growth. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, leading POC implementations, and collaborating with product teams to enhance the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap. The ideal candidate will become a dbt and SQL expert, actively participating in the dbt open-source community.

Responsibilities include:
  • Owning the full sales cycle from lead to close.
  • Organizing POC implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise.
  • Leading and contributing to team projects that develop the sales process.
  • Working with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
  • Becoming an expert in SQL, dbt, and enterprise data operations.
  • Being an active member of the dbt open source community.

Requirements include:
  • 2+ years closing experience in technology sales.
  • Proven track record of exceeding annual targets.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Diligence and organizational skills for intricate sales cycles.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for being an inclusive teammate.
  • Experience with SQL or willingness to learn.
