dbt Labs is seeking an Enterprise Sales Director to expand its enterprise customer base in Southern California. This role involves identifying new business opportunities and fostering growth among existing clients. The ideal candidate will possess foresight and a strong understanding of intrinsic sales cycles.
What This Role Involves:
- Owning the full sales cycle for enterprise prospects.
- Organizing POC implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise.
- Winning 20 new dbt Cloud Enterprise customers per year (after ramp).
- Leading and contributing to team projects to develop the sales process.
- Working with product teams to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
- Becoming an expert in SQL, dbt, and enterprise data operations.
- Actively participating in the dbt open source community.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of closing experience in technology sales, with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and develop them into a consultative sale.
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Diligence and organizational skills to manage long, intricate sales cycles.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for being an inclusive teammate.
- Experience with SQL or willingness to learn.
