Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Head of Talent and Capability to join their People and Culture team in Montreal. This role will be instrumental in driving the success of the business by designing, delivering, and embedding a talent and capability strategy that enhances the performance and engagement of Lightspeed employees. The Head of Talent and Capability will also champion a culture of diversity and inclusion, ensuring it remains integral to Lightspeed's DNA.Responsibilities include:
  • Partnering with the Chief People Officer and P&C leadership to develop programs that enhance business capability throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Developing and embedding the People and Capability Strategy, ensuring employee value, engagement, support, and development.
  • Driving a culture of continuous learning and providing growth opportunities at all levels.
  • Leading Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, ensuring DEI is embedded across the business.
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to a team of program managers, instructional designers, and facilitators.
  • Driving a culture of innovation by leveraging best practices and new ways of working.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years in Talent and Capability, Learning & Development roles, or generalist P&C roles with a focus on L&D.
  • Experience leading Talent and Capability teams.
  • Experience leading projects from conception to completion.
  • Experience in examining and re-engineering processes and procedures.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship-building and communication skills.
