Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Analyst, SOX Compliance to join their Finance team in Montreal. This role supports the best practices of the finance division to drive internal audit and SOX compliance. The Senior Analyst will aid in quarterly 52-109 and annual SOX 404 certification processes, lead business process cycles, integrate acquired companies, and improve processes. They may also participate in ad-hoc compliance projects to enhance Internal Audit & SOX Compliance functions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in testing, documenting, and reviewing SOX controls.
- Involve in the integration of newly acquired companies.
- Champion the internal audit system (AuditBoard).
- Participate in the external audit process.
- Participate in ad-hoc special projects.
Requirements:
- CPA, or in the process of obtaining the designation.
- At least 4 years of experience as an internal or external auditor.
- Robust knowledge of SOX requirements.
- Knowledge of the application of IFRS.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience with AuditBoard, NetSuite and/or Salesforce (preferred).
- Experience in a high-growth, technology company (preferred).
- Excellent written and spoken French (preferred).
