Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Partner Development Manager to build and maintain strategic partnerships, aiming to attract more gastronomy businesses to their platform. The Partner Development Manager will develop individual go-to-market strategies tailored to potential partners' goals, driving new customers to Lightspeed. A deep understanding of the industry, products, and target audiences is essential.

The role involves managing the entire partnership process, from initial contact and strategy development to contract negotiation, successful onboarding, and long-term collaboration. The Partner Development Manager will also represent Lightspeed at industry events and nurture networks within the hospitality and gastronomy sectors.

Role Involves:

  • Developing and managing a partner pipeline and implementing market strategy.
  • Identifying new cooperation opportunities and building partnerships.
  • Persuading potential partners through direct acquisition and incoming inquiries.
  • Achieving defined sales goals (leads, revenue, partnerships).
  • Creating regular reports and forecasts.
  • Ensuring a smooth transition to trainer, partner manager, and marketing team support.
  • Representing Lightspeed at industry events.
  • Analyzing market trends and developing measures for brand presence and reach.
  • Providing expertise in POS systems.
  • Collaborating with other teams.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in channel sales, ideally in software sales.
  • Fluent in German & English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in creating and evaluating sales forecasts.
  • Self-initiative, negotiation skills, and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Experience in B2B sales and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and act independently.
