Job Description
Betsson Group is seeking a Platform Product Owner to join their team in Malta. The ideal candidate will be passionate about i-Gaming, innovation, and improving user experiences. The Product Owner will be part of a team leading the development of Betsson Group's in-house proprietary platform, which powers operations across multiple customer touchpoints on an international scale. They will be assigned product responsibility for specific parts of the platform and for specific initiatives on the product roadmap. The Product Owner will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and the wider product organization on developing and improving the capabilities of the platform as a strategic asset for the group.
What this role involves:
- Acting as the voice of the customer throughout the product development process.
- Leading or participating in product discovery activities.
- Producing detailed product specifications in the form of user stories.
- Informing engineering teams about the work that is prioritised.
- Providing product support to the engineering teams.
- Actively supporting roadmap planning and manage deliveries from start to end.
- Ensuring that the product development backlog is properly organised, prioritised, and kept up to date.
- Contributing to the product vision.
- Communicating product status, progress, and upcoming milestones to stakeholders.
- Holding effective presentations with stakeholders for new product concepts and releases.
- Ensuring that effective KPIs and data collection mechanisms are in place to understand product performance.
- Monitoring platform performance and KPIs to identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Ensuring that relevant product documentation and wikis are well maintained.
- Performing user acceptance testing of new product releases.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of working experience as a product owner or product manager.
- Highly skilled and experienced in collecting requirements and producing product specifications.
- Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, APIs, and data integration.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Experience with analytics tools and metrics-driven decision making.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
