Job Description
The Equipment Coordinator role at Simtra BioPharma Solutions is a crucial position within a high-performance team, responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations and equipment in an aseptic, sterile environment. This role is based in Bloomington, Indiana, on the 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm), reporting to the Equipment Coordinator Supervisor. The role involves:
- Issuing and tracking product contact equipment for GMP and non-GMP batches.
- Maintaining inventory of product contact equipment and ordering new parts.
- Maintaining equipment status in the electronic Equipment Tracking system.
- Performing laser etching and passivation on new equipment.
- Collaborating with cross-functional departments to ensure equipment availability for new and existing projects.
- Reviewing manufacturing batch records and project plans.
- Maintaining equipment documentation and change control.
- Participating in spare part analysis and inventory development.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (AS degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing and/or maintenance environment.
- Experience maintaining inventory and spare parts.
- Experience using measuring and precision tools.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to use and understand enterprise software.
