Manufacturing Trainer (3rd Shift)

Job Description

Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Trainer to join their team in Bloomington, Indiana. In this role, the Manufacturing Trainer will report to the Lead Trainer Manufacturing and provide direct support to manufacturing personnel, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and core competencies. The Manufacturing Trainer will play a crucial role in maintaining quality operations on the production floor and fostering a collaborative environment.Responsibilities:

• Effectively train employees on manufacturing core curriculum, with a focus on OJT.
• Support supervisors in training-related aspects, including policy creation and document management.
• Assist in creating training tools and manuals to enhance operator performance.
• Deliver constructive feedback to team members to improve performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement teams and ensure proper training documentation.
• Write, revise, and review pertinent documentation as needed.
• Maintain competency depth assessments and collaborate with other departments to reinforce quality focus.
• Provide classroom training and production support as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
• 1 year of leadership or training experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide effective group and individual training.
• Knowledge of cGMP and GDP practices required.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise software.
