Rockstar Games is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh, Scotland. This is a full-time, permanent, and in-office position. • Write quality, maintainable, and testable code.
• Work closely with users and UX designers to gather requirements and debug problems.
• Communicate effectively with team members across global studios.
• Participate in the code review process.
• Ensure the stability and reliability of products and systems.
• Ensure a high-quality user experience.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Fluent in either C# or Java.
• Full stack development experience.
• Familiarity with WPF and XAML.
• Familiarity with Spring Framework.
• Knowledge of the MVVM application architecture.
• Familiarity with Hibernate, or similar ORM.
• Familiarity with MySQL / relational databases.
• Ability to work well within a cross-studio team.
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
• Strong communication skills.
