Job Description
Archer Aviation, an aerospace company in San Jose, California, is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Engineer. This role involves leading systems operations on-site and contributing to the overall technical design. The ideal candidate will maintain and improve IT architecture, support data center environments, and implement AWS infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve IT architecture.
- Support Archer’s data center environments.
- Implement and maintain Archer’s AWS infrastructure.
- Contribute to identity and authentication management strategy.
- Support and troubleshoot issues.
- Coordinate with vendors.
- Create and maintain documentation.
- Perform procedures to support compliance requirements.
- Create documentation of internal procedures and help guides.
- Participate in process definition.
- Create, update, and report metrics to the IT Leadership Team.
- Provide support for office-based and remote personnel.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of IT Engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a computer field.
- Experience with Windows Server, AWS, VDI.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell and Python).
- Ability to be detailed in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to move and lift IT equipment.
Archer offers:
- A base pay between $133,400 - $166,800.
