Job Description
OKX is seeking a Senior/Staff Engineer to join their Messaging & Notification team. This team is responsible for building and maintaining the company’s messaging platform, covering in-house instant messaging (IM) systems, email, SMS, and push notifications. The ideal candidate will help support many business lines growth with reliable and scalable user reach capabilities.
Role involves:
- Designing, developing, and optimizing core components of the messaging platform.
- Improving the architecture and performance of the messaging infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in production environments.
- Collaborating with product managers, QA engineers, and SREs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computing.
- Solid foundation in Java programming.
- Familiarity with commonly used middleware.
- Strong knowledge of microservices and distributed system architecture and principles.
- Clear logic, fast learner, strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working on high-throughput and low-latency systems is a strong plus.
