Job Description
Anthropic is seeking an International Accounting Manager to join their international accounting team in Dublin. This role reports to the Head of International Accounting and will focus on building and implementing the framework for local compliance across international entities, with an initial focus on EMEA and APAC regions. The International Accounting Manager will partner closely with global teams and take ownership of the processes and systems they help create.Responsibilities include:
  • Building and implementing frameworks for local compliance.
  • Establishing and maintaining frameworks for local financial statement review.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of international finance policies.
  • Executing monthly consolidation processes and eliminations across international entities.
  • Managing intercompany transactions and developing frameworks to support global scaling.
  • Handling foreign exchange (FX) transactions and developing monthly processes for currency consolidation and risk management.
  • Performing comprehensive reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Supporting local audits of regional entities.
  • Supporting tax compliance framework development and implementation.
  • Partnering with US-based teams to ensure seamless integration of international operations.
  • Leveraging technology and tools to drive continuous improvement and automation.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in high-growth environments with international exposure.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A qualified accountant with professional certification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • Deep knowledge of both US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience with consolidations, eliminations, and intercompany accounting processes.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
