AVP, Operational Risk

Job Description

Global Atlantic Financial Group is seeking an AVP, Operational Risk to join their Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) team. This role is based in New York and reports to the Global Head of TPRM. The AVP will be responsible for providing risk oversight of the firm’s third-party relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving strategic initiatives to evolve the firm’s program. The individual will collaborate with various stakeholders across the firm, including Vendor Management, Compliance, Information Security, and Legal.Role involves:

• Designing and iterating the TPRM framework.
• Identifying and assessing risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Driving automation of TPRM processes.
• Developing and conducting training sessions.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years of experience in TPRM, vendor management, or a risk-related function.
• Experience at a global company.
• Proficiency in developing and managing IRQ and DDQ within TPRM platforms.
• Experience in leading and managing complex projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
