Staff Data Engineer

Job Description

Zinnia is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to contribute to the development of its data infrastructure. The role involves designing, building, and optimizing data workflows using technologies such as dbt, Apache Airflow, and Google Big Query. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide expertise in resolving data-related issues.

Responsibilities:

• Build the next gen data infrastructure for Zinnia.
• Design, build, and optimize data workflows, ensuring seamless data integration.
• Troubleshoot complex data-related issues.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
• 10-14 years of experience in data engineering, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in ELT/ETL processes and tools such as Informatica, DBT, Apache Airflow or similar.
• In-depth understanding of data warehousing concepts, practices, and technologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
