Job Description
KnowBe4 is seeking an SMB Account Executive to drive company growth by managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. The Account Executive will conduct online demos of KnowBe4’s Security Awareness Training Platform and secure new business. This role offers potential advancement to Mid-Market or Enterprise sales after demonstrating success.Responsibilities include:
- Promoting and selling KnowBe4’s range of products and services.
- Identifying and closing net new customers in the assigned territory.
- Building and maintaining a pipeline of potential customers.
- Forecasting new business prospects.
- Identifying key decision-makers and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Articulating the value proposition of KnowBe4’s products.
- Achieving or exceeding monthly quotas and targets.
- Following up on marketing leads.
- Acting strategically in offering or negotiating discounted pricing.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions in compliance with the Administration Policy.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Proven track record in sales.
- 1-3 years of experience selling software to Small Medium Enterprises a plus.
- Familiarity with standard concepts within the IT Security Field.
- Experience with Salesforce and Gmail.
- Network or Security Plus preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Stats-driven business professional.
- Motivated, energetic self-starter.
- Strong collaborative and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
