Job Description

SmartBear is seeking an Associate Product Support Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru. In this role, the individual will be responsible for delivering technical support services to SmartBear's customers, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with development teams. The Associate Product Support Engineer will report to the Product Support Manager.

Role Involves:

  • Troubleshooting and solving technical support issues with external customers.
  • Creating, documenting, and tracking the progress of new customer issues.
  • Collaborating with support colleagues and other internal organizations.
  • Obtaining the necessary knowledge and skills to become proficient with responsible products.
  • Being the customer advocate when providing feedback to internal organizations.
  • Looking for ways to improve productivity of issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Up to 1 year of experience.
  • English at least on B2 level.
  • Excellent customer facing skills.
  • College Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or technical equivalent.
  • Very good communication skills and an ability to work with remote teams.
  • Basic knowledge of API design and testing.
  • Knowledge of at least 1 programming language is preferable.
