Job Description
At-Bay is seeking an Associate Insurance Product Manager to support the management of product library systems and technology platforms, focusing on the Athena underwriting platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and verify product requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and ensure the successful rollout of product and process enhancements. The position reports to the Head of SMB Product - Cyber & Tech.
Role Involves:
- Managing the live form library and documentation of processes.
- Working with tech teams on enhancements and testing/rollout of new tech features.
- Translating business requirements for technical implementation.
- Book data analysis and interpretation to propose enhancements.
- Working with Product Heads to deliver training materials.
- Collaborating with internal analytics teams to review book performance.
- Identifying and verifying product requirements for new products/enhancements.
- Working directly with cross-functional teams including Legal, Pricing, R&D, Underwriting groups, and Product Heads.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably with cyber/tech experience.
- Knowledge of underwriting systems and processes.
- Insurance background as an underwriter or broker looking to pivot into product management.
- Strong attention to detail and process-oriented thinking.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- RPLU/CPCU certification is a plus.
