Monitoring Experience Supervisor

Job Description

SimpliSafe is seeking a Monitoring Experience Supervisor to lead a team of Monitoring Experience Specialists. This role involves providing security and life-saving monitoring services to SimpliSafe's growing customer base. The Supervisor will report to the Manager of Monitoring Experience and support the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure proper operational controls and team leadership processes.SimpliSafe believes in combining technology with a human touch to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. The company is looking to transform the alarm industry and seeks leaders to help execute this vision.What this role involves:

• Setting team goals aligned with SimpliSafe’s company plan.
• Monitoring team performance and providing constructive feedback.
• Building strong working relationships with team members.
• Taking escalated calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conducting 1:1 coaching sessions with team members.
• Preparing and submitting performance reports.
• Recommending measures to motivate employees.
• Assessing the team’s emotional well-being.
• Participating in leadership meetings.
• Partnering with recruiting teams.
• Fostering a work environment for personal development.
• Upholding SimpliSafe standards and expectations.
• Availability for on-call hours as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to pass multiple state licensing background checks and monitoring exams.
• 3-5 years of prior monitoring experience (preferred), with 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to monitor and track messages using company emergency communications equipment.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Experience effectively communicating with people in distress.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong work ethic and drive.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to engender respect and trust.
• Must clear background checks to meet state central station operator licensing requirements.
